    That’s an Asian Lady Beetle actually, not a ladybug. They’re an invasive species that was intentionally introduced in an attempt to control aphids and can sometimes but not always be differentiated from ladybugs by the color of their elytron (hard coating which protects their wings), which can be orange rather then red.

      Can confirm, have them all over our house in the fall. They poop out brown sticky stuff when they’re afraid that smells bad, so you have to be super careful getting rid of them.
