I think they all understand what we want (broadly), they just don’t care, because what they want is more important, and they know consumers will tolerate it.

I wasn’t talking about a personal home appliance, I was talking about a vending machine. That’s way too simple of a device to justify professional robotics. Just needs tubing and pump(s) (theoretically).

An automated bar vending machine would actually be pretty cool without the AI.

That’s what you get for hosting your shit on GitHub

A lot of times companies will patent things that they don’t necessarily intend to ever produce. Sometimes to obscure the patents that they actually do want to produce. Sometimes to reserve it in the case that they do want to later. And sometimes so that no one else can.
I just did just that. Got the Aorus FO48U (48" 4K 120Hz OLED) and it was everything I hoped for. Got it for $250 on Craigslist with <1 hour on it.

It’s not The Verge. It’s Verge Motorcycles. I know, it confused me too.

Only 20?

Because it is a brand with POTUS’ name on it. And we should continue to shine light on him and his grifts until he glows like the fuckin sun.

Hey sorry to thread-jack I looked everywhere for this info but couldn’t find it:
Can you upgrade RAM and storage in this device?

It is pre-installed, and in fact, the only 1 available, on ChromeOS (which is fortunately dying).
You’re not thinking about the bigger picture. They can sell you an irrepairable device, design it to fail after a short time so you have to buy another one, upsell you on useless AI shit to pump up investments, and load it with a bunch of invasive software so they can collect and sell information about you. None of this has anything to do with what you, the consumer, want, and they know that, but they don’t care, because it’s not what makes them money.
