3·12 hours ago…maybe the smart thermostat, which isn’t generally hooked into some central home computer.
I mean, the AppleTV (latest gen) is essentially a computer. Locked down, sure, but a computer. It’s just we don’t think of it that way because of all the technology we have (like this phone computer I’m typing this on or the computer watch I’m wearing).

1·7 days agoFuck Adobe and everyone there, they were the OGs that started the subscription bullshit for software….
For home use, sure. For business use in a business that’s regulated, it’s a godsend. No longer do I have to fight with management about why we need to upgrade Adobe Acrobat even though we “just” bought it 5 years ago.
You pay and it stays up to date. No more vulnerabilities that go unpatched because “we just bought the software” (5 years ago and it’s out of support).





Nope! Not me. Phew.
