    We had the vet remove our cat’s penis. Problem solved.

    And to be fair it was the vet’s idea

      We went through this recently. His bladder got blocked twice by crystals. He couldn’t pass them the first time. They cleared them and then put him on medicated food. He blocked again and we got then cleared again. The third time they got blocked, the cut his penis in half and stitched each half to his butt so he could pass his own crystals.

      Before all this, he was licking a lot due to discomfort. We were fast in taking him to the vet when he couldn’t pass fluids. Anything longer than a couple of days and his kidneys could have failed.

        Similar story, but the way our vet explained it is they removed the penis entirely and rerouted the urethra and widened the opening. He pees like a girl cat now basically.

        Maybe we’re explaining the same surgery, but our vets explained it differently to us
