YMMV, but less than a month after Colorado legalized, my dealer brought me headies after I asked for mids. Told him I wanted mids for the price-point and he said he couldn’t find mids anymore.
The stuff at the store is still a little better than what he brings (typically) for similar price-point, but yeah, lower quality stuff is getting less common.
I dated a girl whose father would run a state down every few months to buy some cheap brick weed. I was feeling nostalgic so I gave him $20 once for an ounce. I rolled one joint with it, smoked the whole thing and decided glass is better and I rolled up enough for another joint in aluminum foil, tossed it in the freezer, and made some brownies with the rest.
True, it’s getting so cheap that I feel stores are reluctant to sell mids. They are heavily pushing $60 artisanal flower called Gushing Grannies and don’t care about a customer buying $30 bulk of mids every 4 months.
With modern potent skunk it would get the job done for me.
People acting like they don’t sell the 10% stuff anymore.
I could only find one place in a 50mi radius that was and they closed recently

I miss the days where I could get a quart ziplock stuffed full of schwag for $60.

At the time brick weed got you more THC per dollar than hydro. It was just good economics.
