This is one of those American nonsense arguments I don’t mind getting into, lol. Just include it in the price if it’s not supposed to be a gratuity. Do y’all just get guilt tripped into paying the salary the employer should be paying every time? What a horrible aftertaste to what could’ve been a good experience. Is it gratuity or an added fee, “optional” but with imposed moral implications that apparently run deep in Burgerland? 🤔

He doesn’t control their wage, but he does control the tip amount. Practicality beats purity unfortunately.
Decent salary is the responsibility of an employer, not the customer.
