    Sure, privately and those who have time. But the public houses aren’t going to stock a full cabinet of spice, replacing a spice cabinet is spendy.

      The evidence is out there to see. Perceptions may be distorted by the hardships the UK suffered of rationing during WW2 and after. But the reality is that herbs and spices were always important and still are.
