Not combined of course, but as of 2025 NYC has a population of about 8.6 million… so there are only 12 US states with a population greater than that.

California, Texas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia (but just barely).

New York City is a strange case because his constituency is larger than 38 states. Nearly as many people as all of Switzerland.

Los Angeles is huge, too but has a relatively weak mayor because of how the city council is structured.

I really want it to work out. I was leaning towards the Titan 2 Elite, but that doesn’t have the qi2 with magsafe or headphone jack.

Why are people so diehard about Roku boxes? I got a $20 android tv box from walmart that handles tailscale and jellyfin just fine. Sounds like it is a shortcoming of Roku, not just Jellyfin.

I self-taught SQL on the job and was denied a promotion because I said S-Q-L instead of Sequel. The supervisor that was interviewing me for the job ended the interview early because of it. This was almost 10 years ago now and I’m still salty about it.
