  • Maybe we’re talking across each other, I haven’t played Project Zomboid, so I can’t comment on that, but I was replying to the rest of your comment.

It could be down to different play styles; I can certainly see it being very frustrating if you’re all doing different things and someone is hogging the resources, but if you’re working together on a shared plan there’s no waiting around. Maybe some people are collecting resources, some are processing them and some are building for instance. You’re not waiting for your turn to build, because you, colkectively, have a plan and everyone is working together to achieve it.

  • I’ve found it’s helpful to actually talk to your friends, discuss what you want to do, and agree at least a rough plan if who does what. If you are actually friends, or even just a bunch of reasonable aquaintances, you’re going to be able to come up with something that is satisfactory everyone, then, when that’s done, come up with a new plan, thus time prioritising those who got less of what they want lst time.

  • Are you refering to the Ping Pong tournament that he ran in the Quảng Ninh province of Vietnam? I heard that, after the tournament had finished, he thought it would be nice, in the spirit of friendship, if each team sang the national anthem of another. Well, needless to say, this caused a bit of tension, and many lyrics were, accidentally or not, mangled. This lead to tempers flaring, quite a bit of shouting, and, I’m sorry to say, the tension spilled over and a fight broke out between the US and Vietnamese teams.

The incident was later refered to as the Dick Bong Hạ Long Ping Pong Sing Song Ding Dong.

  • Can you still SSH to the machine when it’s in that state? If you can it’s likely to be a problem in the graphics stack, if you can I’d probably start by running memtest86+ for a full cycle to rule out memory issues. After that, checking things like CPU temps would be good.

Assuming that’s all good, check for anyone else reporting issues with the same motherboard, CPU, GPU, or other components

Good luck, this sort of thing can be quite frustrating to get to the bottom of.
