It also makes you susceptible to do inhumane things to people based on false information.
I’m not surprised. But I don’t condone or celebrate it either.
Without context, it isn’t.
As soon as I post it in a thread about Nazis doing Nazi shit, I get downvoted to hell.
Same with my anti-war stance.
Granting someone human rights IS NOT tolerance.
And it’s not high road shit.When Nazis attack your state with an army, shoot them in defense.
When they attack your society, arrest them, give them a trial, lock them up and seize all assets they used.
Inestigate their support network and shut that down. Ban Nazi parties, clubs and groups.
Also, fund organisations that help people trying to get out of the Nazi community.The problem we have isn’t that those measures aren’t enough.
It’s that we don’t even do those things, because our politicians are actually in league with them or afraid of them.
Unpopular opinion:
Universal human rights apply to all humans, including Nazis.
Dehumanizing people and denying them their human rights is what Nazis do.
4 cops saw you “pouring a liquid into the pool”.
Their witness accounts don’t match up and 3 of them were on the other side of the city at the time, but the judge believes them anyway.

32·17 days agoA fancy French word for basement.
Actually a floor that’s halfway between street level and basement.
So it’s possible to build normal windows into it, but they’re very low to (or slightly below) the ground outside.

541·17 days agoWhen my wife and I were looking for a home, our main priority was actually that it’s “climate proof”.
We found a souterrain apartment facing east, on top of a hill, far from any rivers or forest.
So it stays cool in the summer even without A/C, and is unlikely to flood or get caught in a forest fire.

They’re called Schultüte.
Schule = school
Tüte = joint
No, you enter it through a moon pool.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Does Arch or Cachy OS force you to keep up to date until your hardware cant match it? SOLVED
33·20 days agoThis isn’t like a phone OS where they add ressource-draining new features every 6 months.
If your computer can run the OS at installation, it’ll be able to run it for a long time.
One good reason not to use Arch is if you have a limited internet connection.
Updates are often 1 GB or more per week, depending on what you have installed.
So if that’s an issue, Debian is the better choice.

5·21 days agoI support a fleet of 300 Windows laptops plugged into USB-C docking stations, with bluetooth headsets, and all that is connected to a Citrix farm.
My job has been pure driver hell for the past year, ever since we were forced to downgrade to Windows 11.
And I have no idea how to get out of it.
