

That’s fair, I can definitely understand that position and agree with you on the NK apologists.
From my point of view, I think it’s more productive to interact with people I disagree with, in the (possibly naive) pursuit of changing their minds. If people are kicked out for their views, I’d imagine many of them will just double down and act like a martyr.
To be clear, I’m not saying we shouldn’t call these people out and downvote them – that’s why that function exists right? But maybe once in a while, something that we argue will resonate with them.
Of course there are limits to that approach, and this all hinges on the other person arguing in good faith. Based on the OP’s post history, I’ll admit that I may be barking up the wrong tree in this case.
Speaking for myself, it’s because I interpret the post as using sensationalist, biased language. Right or wrong, I don’t value content that tries to manipulate the readers perception that way.
