I had some friends in high school who thought it was really funny to leave loaves of bread in peoples’ mailboxes. When one guy asked about it, they told him it was from the government.

For the most part, debian has worked well for me (on steam, I haven’t used heroic). I’ve had trouble with nvidia drivers in the past, though.
It’s a stable release distro, so you won’t have the latest drivers and such, but that hasn’t been a big issue for me
On Debian, you need to have secure boot disabled in order to hibernate. I’m guessing it works similarly on mint
