Yes. I cancelled almost 2 years ago hoping they would improve by the time it was up but now I only have a month left to sort a new service 😭
This is @Dave@lemmy.nz and @Dave@piefed.nz but PieFed told me not to use my admin account for general browsing so here I am following instructions.

Lol apparently New Zealand is joining those ranks. Along with an app to pay.

Technology@lemmy.world•Some Google Home Speakers downloading massive amounts of data in the backgroundEnglish
26·6 days agoRealistically it doesn’t need to request the DNS record every time. It’s probably retrying over and over because you blocked it, otherwise it would just cache the result for a while.
I remember some huge number of blocked requests when I set up my pihole, but eventually they calmed down as devices gave up their retrying.

6·7 days agoTineye goes back at least to 2013, so likely not! But also probably easy enough to photoshop/gimp.
How often do chicken wings appear where there isn’t a bathroom where you can go and wash your hands?

Have one. Love it. Except mine doesn’t mark where the electromagnets are so you just have to guess 🫠

10·14 days agoI had a colleague missing a hand once, and it me more than 9 months notice, even though I saw them in the office each day…
I’m not sure what they were going for, but I know that modern browsers do just in time compilation for regularly repeated code parts to allow much faster execution, so “interpreted programming language” may be a little of a blurry definition. See https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Glossary/Just_In_Time_Compilation
I couldn’t find any info on any hardware specific to JS/JSON for clients but I’m no expert, maybe they will provide more info.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Have we been running insecure software since the arrival of AI?English
141·23 days agoI don’t think anyone has mentioned this yet, but the idea of AI hacking tools has also led to a lot more human effort in finding and fixing security issues.
A while back there was an article about AI security tools and something about over 200 security vulnerabilities patched (perhaps in Chrome?). But in the detail of the article, it mentioned only 4 were found by AI. The rest were found by humans trying to get there before people with AI tools found them.

5·1 month agoNot OP but I use an Enterprise version that is fine, I guess a different release branch. My mother doesn’t have the enterprise version as she works for a small business and it broke.
How do we know Dr Pepper is a person doctor not a vet?
Or maybe Dr Pepper has a PhD?
Can’t you just put the stuff in the trolley unbagged then bag them when you get to the car?

3·2 months agoSo if your toast isn’t taller than those sides, can you open it sideways or something? Remember those bars are scorching hot.

7·2 months agoMy favourite is when a toaster with the lift function raises to a high point that’s lower than the high point on one without the lift.
Or that time I went through every display toaster in the store to get the one that lifted the highest, then when I bought one and took it home the one in the box only lifted to a high point an inch lower than the display model.

Can’t believe they killed her off so early on!
