I heard (also on NPR) that she has a rare vein condition which makes it incredibly difficult to administer anything by IV.

It is very important to remember as an individual that anybody has the power to completely turn off their empathy, and that some people are particularly well practiced at doing it.
I would say that its a reflection of the sickness of the times but humans have always had a lust for violence. In any case we are headed in a direction where peace becomes harder and harder to maintain, and the guys on the alt right have far fewer scruples about killing people.
It shouldn’t be that surprising that a guy who made a career peddling hate would become a focal point for people sick of that shit. The people yearn to shoot more racists in the neck. The meme cycle will subside shortly and the Kirk memes will diminish until next year (or until someone shoots another racist.)
Eyyy, I used to like that program quite a bit. Is there some controversy about it?
Unfortunately the floor boards are more permeable than a ball of hair, soap, skin and cum.
Nailed coffee tables are gonna be the new biggest thing didn’t you know? Incredibley claude did this completely agentically, we didnt even have to tell claude to look for the next big fad. It actually improves the security of the coffee table, wont be able to run any saws through it after Claude is done! Claude puts nails where no human would even think to, thats what makes him so USEFUL.
I have a reputation among my friends for disappearing in the middle of things.
Makes it a lot harder to do.

Linux@lemmy.ml•What's your favourite "just works, day after day" Linux software?English
1·3 months agoYeah, I only tried what I assume was the snap version, and then APT which I suspect redirects to installing the snap version (maybe not though since this is mint and not direct ubuntu?) In any case I have a few more tendencies towards LMDE which will probably make me end up there eventually.

2·3 months agoCant get VLC working properly on my linux and I miss having it. Ive been thinking about switching to LMDE because of it.
Have printed using a brother printer from linux mint. It was easier than any other time ive done it lol.
Working better than intended.
There is a degree of subjectivity to it, but at some point you pass a threshold where it should become obvious to most people. When I was in college, a CS degree was the one degree everyone knew would land you a well paying job right from graduation. It had been like that before I got there, and it was like that after I left. That isn’t the case anymore, and you can’t blame it all on AI.

This is a good video that shows how the industry has been changing.
I think the biggest piece of evidence that AI isn’t actually causing the layoffs is that it doesn’t actually fucking work and everyone knows it.
