web forums are very gatekept by overzealous owners/mods even worst than reddit, once you been singled out by them, theres really no recourse, like joining another thread. there are “location” based forums i was in, some people act like a tankie of those locations, not in he political sense.

another forum one long time ago, i was agreeing with a user who was calling the mods rude for being irritating towards, and they were responding “we get to spam the threads, because we own part of this site, while chatising people they are spamming(they were being very trollish and childish”) and not taking thier unsolicited advice to heart.
