Kinda weak sauce dude. It’s just a bunch of stuff most of us already know. It doesn’t account for how adaptable people have proven to be. It’s far from inevitable that any of this will lead to permanent civilizational collapse. Though certainly the dudebro types like Fuckerberg think it will, but I think they’re just paranoid, and not as smart as they think they are.

I find it hard to take people seriously when they start their argument off with gold too. Gold is no different from fiat currency. It’s only worth as much as people think it is. Historically it wasn’t even used for anything practical. It’s one of my smell tests for people who have bad critical thinking skills, quite frankly. If fiat currency was such a terrible idea then the whole world would be in far worse shape than it is.
