      Matrix and XMPP based apps wont cut it for most Discord users. Guilded was taken offline in December. Revolt is now called stoat.chat and is so far the most promising alternative for Discord.

        None of those listed are decentralised or Discord-like though, except maybe Matrix, which in theory does both but in practice fails at basically everything
