The local ‘OF stardom’ won’t register, or will just move abroad. The practice of their craft is not bound to any single location.

Ukraine is not a serious country, nor are it’s leaders serious people.

The local ‘OF stardom’ is currently technically breaking the law. This would legalize what they’re doing and tax it as legal income. Worst case scenario, nobody registers their income, nothing happens. Best case scenario, a bunch of them will register their income because that means they can do their business 100% legally whereas before it was illegal anyway so why bother reporting it for taxes.

There’s very little, if any, potential downside for making porn legal if it’s already being produced and already available… like it is in most other countries. There’s some potential upside, even though it remains to be seen how much will actually be realized. It’s a nobrainer to do this IMO.

Most countries tax income regardless of source so moving abroad won’t make your OF account untaxed magically. And hiding your income is always a risk in most countries, unless you have a day job or something to explain your ability to pay for your expenses.

What bar do you set for a country to be considered serious? Because I dont see Ukraine trying to rename the Black Sea to “Lake Ukraine”.

you seriously went through over a month of my comments one by one? that’s legit hundreds of comments, cus i’m quite active. i think that’s kind of an insane thing to do

i’ve changed my mind since then, and yes, i was cringe at the time

              I ctrl+f’d “world”

.ml is broadly incapable of not insulting world on a regular basis, so it was a pretty easy bet.

“on a regular basis”, and the latest example you can find is from a month ago, and i don’t even do it anymore

doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense to me

I was talking about ml as a whole, in a general sense. Not you specifically. But fine.

Calling it reddit.world is basically the same shit you said a month ago, so pretending you don’t instance shame anymore while still doing it is pretty cringe.

Also nitpicking people while (deliberately?) misunderstanding their comments is very much like ml, so there’s another generalization you fit perfectly.

reddit.world is a good descriptor for the instance. the instance in general is very similar to reddit, it’s the “main” instance at this point and it’s mostly filled with normie liberals, just like reddit. i didn’t shame anyone in that comment, i was just letting out frustration as a reply because i’m sick of seeing people instance shaming .ml despite there basically being zero shaming from our side

anyway, i completely changed my mind on instance shaming because of this reply to that. i didn’t really do it before (that’s why the last example is from over a month ago) and that’s why i said that comment

idk why i even reply to people who comb through my comment history one by one like weirdo stalkers

Also nitpicking people while (deliberately?) misunderstanding their comments is very much like ml, so there’s another generalization you fit perfectly.

what? what did i nitpick and misunderstand?

never mind, don’t answer that, i will stop replying anyway. i’m sick of you incredibly weird people who respond to people calling out instance shaming and stupid generalizations by stalking comment history and being weird because you don’t have an argument.

i’ll just leave you instance shamers alone with .ml rent free in your head.

you will probably find something else in my comment history to pull out that you think is a valid argument. hope you get a big win there and hope you enjoy living in my comment history.

You seem to have made a conscious choice to join and stay on .ml. you’re more than welcome to do that but don’t be surprised when people react negatively to some of your other server members’ tankie comments.

that’s not the problem. the problem is that a lot of y’all pull out the .ml card when there’s not even “tankie things” being discussed and completely disregard them because of the instance because apparently “.ml = tankie = wrong on everything”

and i’m not changing instances just because of some ridiculousness from people that are acting in bad faith anyway. i want to access both the “normie” instances and hexbear which both have a lot of cool people but unfortunately most liberal instances are scared of hexbear’s differing political opinions
